"Life Through My Eyez" Review
1. Intro.
Asoka brings his latest album to life with a very lively Introduction of the distinction of being Asoka.
2. In The Ground
Asoka's flow is tight in his reply to the haters. Asoka displays his array of talent by lacing this track with colorful Disses and hard felt Punches. If you're having one of those days than this is the track to drop.
3. Rock - Feat. Max Majiq
Rock is a very fun easy listening track. Asoka lyrics are filled with his inspiration to climb to the top. Nice beat. Max Majiq fined tune flow and lyrics compliment the track greatly.
4. Same Old Shit
Many will feel this track. Asoka ability to take a subject matter and bring it to life is always amazing to listen to. This is a very thought provoking track. Nice tense beat.
5. The Uppercut w/Tupac & Sista Souljah
Asoka's verse on this re-mix is more than outstanding. Asoka's Thug Life rap style mixed with his soft Angelic rap style reps this track well. The blending of these styles and the use of his native language adds mystic to the track. This is what makes Asoka a rarity in the industry. Taking part in this special project for Tupac Shakur is an outstanding accomplishment for Asoka. Props!
6. Do That {Fall Back} Feat. J. Nyce
Good club mix. Nice fun flow and lyrics.
7. Can We
Asoka's energetic flow and potent lyrical content is akin to lightening. Asoka spiritual nature defines what his impact on the music industry has had on his many fans.
8. Hurt - Johnny Cash and Asoka
Asoka takes us back to the originality and quality of his musical talent. The Depth and Substance of this track is Outstanding. Everything on this track is done on the level of Excellence. A reminder of why the fans listen with intent to Asoka's lyrics. Very nice beat and an excellent choice for the artist to convey the message of the track.
9. Nothing But A…
This is a dark hardcore track. Nice beat.
10. Gotta Change
Asoka soulful flow and great lyrical content is fun yet contains realities of the issues and problems we continually face. Nice track.
11. Life Through My Eyez
A great show of Asoka's ability to let the inner self lyrically speak. Nice track to just chill and listen to.
12. Where Did You Go
Asoka writing skills as well as his layed back flow blends nicely. Nice beat with the spirtual flavor which Asoka is known to bring to his music. Excellent track.
13. Unspoken Thoughts
This will become one of the many classic tracks from Asoka. No one is on the Spiritual Level that Asoka holds in this rap category. This track is the essence of beauty. Definitely a track to have on repeat.
14. Hustle Hard - Feat. 50 Cent, Max Majiq, J. Nyce
Great club mix. Nice track.
15. One & Only
A Very fun track to listen to. Asoka displays a light fun playful side. Nicely done!
16. Never Forget Me
Asoka has saved the best for last. All of what makes Asoka a great artist is combined together to make this track the Albums Stand Alone Track. Asoka is flawless on this track.
As always another Underground GROUND BREAKER... Much success to you in your musical ventures.
